شناسایی مشکلات پایان نامه نویسی از دیدگاه دانشجویان علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسی در دانشگاه های شهر تهران (مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

چکیده
هدف: این پژوهش با هدف شناخت مشکلات و چالش های موجود برای نگارش پایان نامه در مقطع کارشناسی ارشد علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسی انجام شده است. روش شناسی: جامعه آماری پژوهش تمامی دانشجویان علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسی هستند که در یکی از دانشگاه های شهر تهران در رشته علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسی در مقطع کارشناسی ارشد، در بازه زمانی 1386 - 1391 پایان نامه نوشته اند. با استفاده از نمونه گیری هدفمند و گلوله برفی،20 نفر از آنها به عنوان نمونه پژوهش انتخاب شدند. پژوهش با استفاده از رویکرد کیفی و روش مطالعه موردی جمعی انجام و داده های پژوهش با استفاده از ابزار مصاحبه گردآوری شده است و از طریق روش تحلیل محتوای کیفی و داده بنیاد تحلیل شده اند. یافته ها: یافته ها نشان می دهد که دانشجویان در بخش های مختلف پایان نامه شامل: انتخاب موضوع، پروپوزال نویسی، تدوین پنج فصل پایان نامه (کلیات پژوهش، پیشینه پژوهش و مبانی نظری، روش شناسی، یافته های پژوهش، بحث و نتیجه گیری)، نگارش متن پایان نامه، اخلاق پژوهش، استاد راهنما و مشاور مشکل دارند. اصالت اثر: با توجه به اهمیت پایان نامه ها، برای ارتقای سطح کیفی آنها، نیاز است تا چالش های پایان نامه نویسی از دیدگاه اصلی ترین پدیدآورندگان آن یعنی دانشجویان بررسی شود. این پژوهش با استفاده از روش کیفی به بیان شرایط موجود پایان نامه نویسی در رشته علم اطلاعات و دانش شناسی می پردازد تا بتوان به رفع موانع پرداخت.The problems of dissertation writing process, according to Library and information science students` viewpoint
Objective: The aim of this study was to exploring the problems and challenges of dissertation writing process of library and information science in regard to students’ perspective.
Method: The survey population was consisted of all library and information sciences’ students who graduated from one of the universities in Tehran in recent years. The sample of research was consisted of 20 students who were selected through snowball sampling and purposed sampling. This study is a qualitative research and researcher used Collective Case Study method. Also, the study was done through interview and the data were analyzed by Grounded Theory and qualitative content analysis.
Findings: The results showed that there were many weakness points and problems in different part of writing a dissertation including: topic selection, proposal, writing all chapters, principles of writing, research ethics, and satisfaction from supervisors.
Originality: Dissertations are an important part of research and university productivity. Therefore, students’ point of view toward writing a dissertation is a necessity for a qualified work. This study tried to show the situation of writing dissertations of library and information science by using qualitative approach and it helped us to solve problems.
