مروری بر سیر تکاملی حسابداری مدیریت گویای این «واقعیت» است که علی رغم تغییرات تکنولوژی و تحولات اقتصادی دهه گذشته، این شاخه از دانش حسابداری اگر چه فراز و نشیب هایی را پشت سر گذاشته است، لیکن روش های مورد استفاده در آن از پیشرفت های چشمگیری برخوردار نبوده است. آیا در دهه جدید قرن 21 نیز حسابداری مدیریت کماکان بدون دگرگونی و تحول قابل ذکری باقی خواهد ماند؟ یا اینکه در دهه جدید که در آغاز آن هستیم حسابداری مدیریت خود را با شرایط جدید تکنولوژیکی و محیطی منطبق و سازگار خواهد نمود؟ حسابداری مدیریت به کجا می رود و چه عواملی با تحول آن مرتبط می باشند؟ پاسخ به پرسش های فوق انگیزه و هدف این مقاله است. بررسی مستندات تاریخی، نتایج پژوه های محققان بنام این رشته و همچنین تحقیقات انجمن های حرفه ای حاکی از این است که با توجه به نیازهای متعدد و متنوع در مدیریت منابع، در سطوح خرد و کلان، حسابداری مدیریت ناگزیر به رشد و توسعه لازم می باشد تا بتواند جوابگو باشد. به منظور پاسخگویی به نیازهای موجود، حسابداری مدیریت می یابد به موضوعات عوامل انسانی و رفتاری و نقش این عوامل در مدیریت بیش از پیش توجه کند. دیگر پیش شرط جوابگویی به نیازهای موجود، ارتقاء صلاحیت حرفه ای و اخلاقی حسابداران مدیریتی است. امید بر این است که با لحاظ کردن تغییر و تحولات تکنولوژیکی و اقتصادی، پژوهش های حسابداری مدیریت با تآکید بر محور نقش عوامل انسانی و رفتاری و همچنین توجه به ارتقاء کمی و کیفی نیروهای متخصص، حسابداری مدیریت بتواند جایگاه واقعی خود را در شکل دهی به آینده احراز نماید.

Investment Justification in Advanced Manufacturing Technology: A Study of Iranian Companies(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

During the past two decades business and manufacturing have observed significant and radical changes. Companies have used automation in the manufacturing, in order to improve quality and competency. It was expected that along with these changes, management accounting systems, which focus on monitoring and analyzing management decisions, should adapt with and encourage the changes. Many authors have claimed that management accounting systems have not helped the suitable business and manufacturing strategies in the new environment. Some even claim that it has hindered investing in advanced manufacturing technology and productivity. This research, by analyzing information collected from 101 Iranian business units from various industries and manufacturing settings, investigates justification basis for capital investment in advanced manufacturing technology. The study demonstrates that there is more correlation between qualitative factors such as; manufacturing capabilities, improved product quality and, competition position with investment justification than quantitative bases such as; accounting rate of return (ARR), internal rate of return (IRR) and, net present value (NPV).

Indicators for Adopting Management Accounting Innovations in Times of Economic Crisis(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Given the existing economic situation, the role of management accounting in Iranian economic enterprises has been quite evident in the last two decades. Considering the economic crises, it is necessary to examine the indicators of adoption of management accounting innovations in times of economic crisis. Therefore, the present study aimed to identify the indicators of adoption of management accounting innovations in times of economic crisis and to present a model for its structural equations. The research was conducted in two parts: qualitative and quantitative. In the qualitative section, data analysis was performed by Delphi method and using interviews with 10 experts, including managers and deputies of the management accounting department of accepted companies and university professors. The analysis was conducted three parts: open coding, axial coding and selective coding and finally Delphi method. Based on the results obtained in the qualitative section, 103 sub-components and 6 main components were identified. The main components are: 1) economic crises; 2) economic indicators; 3) organizational culture; 4) information and communication technology; 5) Management indicators and 6) Crisis control indicators. In the quantitative section, using the indicators identified in the qualitative section, a questionnaire was designed and provided to a statistical sample including 180 people, managers and deputies of the management accounting department. Finally, the questionnaires were analyzed by PLS structural equation modelling. The results showed that economic indicators ,organizational culture, information and communication technology , and crisis control indicators as indicators of adoption of management accounting innovations in times of crisis.

The Role of Management Accounting in Improving Management Control System in Public Sector(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The management control system provides valuable information on the managers' needs at different levels of the organization. Today, with changes in the political, social and economic dimensions, the management control system in the public sector also needs to be changed and adapted to new conditions and use new tools to meet stakeholders’ needs. The purpose of this study is to provide a model to investigate the role of the management control system and increase accountability in the public sector administrations and companies. In this regard, the present study explores the role of functions of management accounting in improving the management control system in the public sector. For this purpose, data were collected through interviewing 13 experts in the field of the management control system and functions of management accounting and reviewing related texts, articles and books in this field, and their content was analyzed through grounded theory and content analysis method and MAXQDA 2021 software was used for data analysis in 1399. The findings of this study showed that a management control system, if it has the necessary tools, can play a key role in preventing corruption, increasing transparency and accountability, performance-based budgeting, and performance-based auditing. The existence of a management control system is necessary for any organization; such a system will help identify resource flow, help management in decision making, motivate employees, make decisions related to outsourcing and contracting, reduce service delivery time, and many other issues in organizations, and it will ultimately lead to optimally allocate resources, prevent corruption, and increase legitimacy, transparency and accountability, Therefore, the optimal use of management accounting in the management control system, improves the achievement of organizational goals and the effectiveness of programs

Investigating Budgeting Process and Budgetary Control System within Organizations: A Study with Reference to Indian Listed Companies and Financial Institutions(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Today, budgets are considered by many as a powerful tool to conduct and control an organization's internal and external affairs. Budget, budgeting, and budgetary controls are the priority of every manufacturing and service entity. Top management in organizations uses budgets to monitor and control the financial and nonfinancial activities that occur within their organization. The current research method is empirical, which tests the feasibility of a solution using empirical evidence based on statistical applications. The study considered SENSEX 30 companies listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. The statistical population comprised five top-level managers categories, including 150 respondents, eight mid-level managers, 240 respondents, and 12 lower-level supervisory cadres of 360 respondents. The total population is 750 respondents. "Simple Random Sampling Technique" used in the current study. Primary Data was collected using an Interview Schedule developed explicitly for the purpose and finalized after conducting the pilot survey. The collected primary data are validated, tabulated, and classified. Secondary data were collected from published articles, the Companies Act, the Accounting Standards Manual published by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, Websites, journals, and other validated material. The companies' annual reports were a significant secondary data source. Data analysis uses Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), and interpretations are made based on statistical tools. The results of the research indicated that most Indian companies set budgeting systems in accordance with accounting standards. The results of the current study also show some significant factors that need to be considered by the organization while setting budgets.
