This article examines the concept of "Sarrurah" and the ruling on "the shaving of Sarrurah" in Islamic jurisprudence. Initially, it clarifies the linguistic and technical meanings of the terms "halq" (shaving of the head) and "Sarrurah" (referring to a person who has not performed the obligatory Hajj). Subsequently, two main viewpoints regarding the meaning of Sarrurah are presented: first, one who has not performed any type of Hajj (obligatory, recommended, substitute, or vowed); and second, one who has only omitted the obligatory Hajj, known as Hajj al-Islam. Through an examination of related narratives and an analysis of various perspectives, the article concludes that Sarrurah refers to someone who has not performed any Hajj. Then, regarding the ruling on "the shaving of Sarrurah for men," the article supports the obligation of shaving for male Sarrurah based on decisive narratives and the understanding of earlier scholars.
