تحلیل نظریه برچسب زنی در رمان «داغ ننگ» (مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

چکیده
در جرم شناسی تعامل گرا، برچسب زنی به فرآیندی اشاره دارد که در آن افراد یا گروه ها به وسیله دیگرانْ برچسب ها یا هویت هایی را دریافت می کنند که می تواند بر رفتار، خودپنداره و تعاملات اجتماعی آن ها تأثیر بگذارد. بر این اساس، در فرآیند برچسب زنی به بزهکارانْ صفات تحقیرآمیزی توسط مقامات رسمی کنترل اجتماعی و گروه های اجتماعی غیررسمی نسبت داده می شود که موجب اثرگذاری بر خودانگاره آن ها می شود. با توجه به اهمیت نظریه برچسب زنی در مطالعات جرم شناسی، این پژوهش درصدد است تا رمان «داغ ننگ» اثر ناتانیل هاوثورن را با روش تحلیل گفتمان فوکو و با تمرکز بر نظریه برچسب زنی تحلیل کند. هدف اصلی این مطالعه، بررسی چگونگی تأثیر گفتمان های اجتماعی و فرهنگی بر هویت و روابط انسانی از طریق فرآیند برچسب زنی است. بر اساس یافته های این پژوهش، برچسب زنی به عنوان یکی از ابزارهای کلیدی گفتمان های حاکم، نقش اساسی در شکل دهی به هویت و سرنوشت افراد ایفا می کند. شخصیت های «داغ ننگ»، هر یک به شیوه ای منحصر به فرد با برچسب های اجتماعی مواجه می شوند و به تبع آن، واکنش های مختلفی از خود بروز می دهند که بیانگر پیچیدگی و تنوع رفتارهای انسانی در برابر گفتمان های مسلط است. هم زمان، گفتمان های قدرت و دانش در قالب نهادهای اجتماعی و فرهنگی هنجارها و برچسب ها را بازتولید و آن ها را به جامعه تحمیل می کنند. در نهایت، برچسب های اجتماعی از طریق دوگانه دانش/ قدرت و فرآیند هویت سازی، از یک سو، موجب انزوای اجتماعی، از خودبیگانگی و تحقیر بزهکاران و از سوی دیگر، از طریق اثرگذاری بر فرامن باعث شکل گیری هویت مجرمانه در بزهکاران می شوند.Analysis of labeling theory in the novel The Scarlet Letter
In interactional criminology, labeling refers to the process in which individuals or groups are given labels or identities by others that can affect their behavior, self-concept, and social interactions. Accordingly, in the process of labeling, derogatory attributes are attributed to criminals by official social control officials and informal social groups, which affects their self-image. Considering the importance of labeling theory in criminology studies, this research tries to analyze the novel "The Scarlet Letter" by Nathaniel Hawthorne with Foucault's discourse analysis method and focusing on labeling theory. The main purpose of this study is to investigate how social and cultural discourses influence human identity and relationships through the labeling process. According to the findings of this research, labeling, as one of the key tools of ruling discourses, plays an essential role in shaping people's identity and destiny. The characters of "The Scarlet Letter" face social labels in a unique way, and as a result, they express different reactions that show the complexity and diversity of human behavior against dominant discourses. At the same time, discourses of power and knowledge in the form of social and cultural institutions reproduce norms and labels and impose them on society. Finally, social labels through duality of knowledge/power and identity formation process, on the one hand, cause social isolation, alienation and humiliation of criminals and on the other hand, through influencing orders, they cause the formation of criminal identity in criminals.
