Despite the similar performance of Bazaar1 in different cities of Iran, there are some the skeletal differences between markets in different climates. The Bazaar roof protects customers against natural events in any climate. The ceiling height and the sitting down of the Bazaar`s floor are determined based on the need for air circulation and movement in various climates. Hence, combination of all the factors would shape the market. Natural ventilation and cooling air are one of the major factors determining the market shape in hot and dry areas. This study aims to analyze the function of natural ventilation concerning direct and indirect effective elements and their impacts on market shape in hot and dry city-Shiraz. For this purpose, Vakil Bazaar is chosen. In this research, a combination of descriptive and case methods are applied analytically, a field which determines the wind and air function based on the dominant wind and other elements affecting the natural ventilation of Shiraz` Vakil Bazaar that in the end achieve factors to providing favorable comfort in this place.

Investigation of the Middle East Windcatchers and (Comparison between Windcatchers in Iran and Egypt in Terms of Components)(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

This paper investigates the function of windcatchers in dry regions in Middle East and compares them in different fields in two areas including Yazd-Iran, and Egypt. The study exامینes windcatchers in these areas in terms of cooling system and forms, with different plans, forms, constituent components and decorations.Reassessment of windcatchers in these areas can shed light on these differences. Survey was carried out by systematic comparison sampling. Comparison of windcatcher components and performance in two areas of the Middle East can result in a comprehensive understanding of the differences in these two areas. However, to keep factors affecting windcatcher components constant, two windcatchers in two similar regions are investigated.Case comparison between windcatchers in Iran and Egypt in terms of the constituent components can be informative about the windcatcher architecture in two regions with similar climates and different cultures and can give us general knowledge of the issue. Findings of the research have shown that windcatchers have formed a cooling system in the Middle East traditional buildings and their primary function is conditioning using the wind renewable energy. The cooling system works in two ways: through displacement and displacement and evaporation. The latter has been particularly used for hot and dry climate. In hot and arid regions of the Middle East, the windcatcher shapes were determined according to the prevailing wind direction.

The design of tourist walkways and developments of strategies for more prolonged presence of people at ancient contextures are considered as vivid multiple procedures in protecting of contexture, tour guiding and urban sustainability. Sهادیng in open spaces and pathways, especially in tourist areas, is one of the most important factors in providing the thermal comfort perception. So in innovation of architectural sهادیng samples, some strategies and variable sunshades are needed by consideration of climate changes in any specified area and the changes of the sun position in the sky during days and different times of the year, alternately. This study analyzes the proportion of the thermal comfort in one of the tourist paths of the Zandieh complex located in Shiraz. This path lacks the appropriate function based on the researches by the thermal comfort means, so identifying a path and an appropriate place pause concerning climate conditions, environment, bed and contexture of specified area, presents you a suitable and effective pattern of a sunshade for the mentioned path, towards urban sustainability. This research is carried out by practical and scientific method of descriptive and bottom-up type. New hypothesis are generated from collected data. Data collection is based on library and metrical method.

 احیای محلات شهر و تقویت هرسه بعد پایداری در آنها، یکی از راهکارهای اصلی رسیدن به پایداری شهری محسوب می شود. تاکنون بیشترین توجه طرح های ساماندهی، بهسازی و بازسازی در ایران، حول مسئله نوسازی کالبدی بوده و ساکنان به عنوان مخاطبان اصلی، نادیده گرفته شده اند. حال این سوال مطرح است که "چرا طراحی فضاهای مردمی با مشارکت مردم صورت نمی پذیرد که چنین بازخوردهایی، دربر نداشته باشد؟ مشکلات اجرایی این گونه طرح ها به ویژه در ایران چیست؟" دراین راستا محله باغشاه شیراز به عنوان نمونه موردی پژوهش مورد توجه قرار گرفت. روش پژوهش توصیفی – تحلیلی با استفاده از برداشت های میدانی و سوال از مردم در قالب پرسشنامه شامل بررسی های اجتماعی، جمعیتی، برداشت کالبدی و بررسی تصویر ذهنی ساکنان از محله با هدف تعیین میزان تمایل ساکنان درتهیه و اجرای طرح بهسازی و ارتقا کیفی زندگی بوده است تا راهکارهایی برای جلب مشارکت ساکنان به عنوان یکی ازمهمترین الزامات دستیابی به پایداری اجتماعی محلات در توسعه شهری، ارائه شود.
