چکیده
الروایه فن حدیث فی الأدب العربی ولم تمتدّ جذورها أکثر من قرن؛ لکنها رغم حداثتها تنمو بسرعه وإزدهار بأیدی الرواه العربیه. یعّد عبدالرحمن منیف من شخصیات أرسخ جذور الرّوایه فی الأدب العربی لاسیّما بأثره خماسیه «مدن الملح». یحاول الباحثان فی هذه الورقه البحثیّه باتباع المنهج الوصفی- التحلیلی دراسه شخصیات الجزء الأول من خماسیه «مدن الملح»(التیه) معتمده علی الملامح القومیه قبل دخول الأمیرکان وبعده؛ کما یقوم هذا البحث علی دراسه الشخصیات المحوریه، دلاله الأسماء، توظیف الرموز ووصف الشخصیات. تستهدف المقاله إلی کشف خفایا شخصیات الروایه وتبیّن أسلوب الکاتب الممیّز فی خلق هذه الشخصیات وهکذا یستنبط أنّ طرق الکاتب تختلف تماماً عمّا هو الحال فی تقدیم الشخصیات فی الروایات العربیه اذ إنه یحاول تسلیط الضوء علی القضایا القومیه فی أسلوبٍ یتمیّز بجوده الوصف و دقه البناء.A Study on Ethnic Characterizations in "Cities of Salt" Novel by Abdul Rahman Munif
Art of narration in Arabic literature does not own historical background – about a century and half. But novelty of this art in Arabic literature is not known as an obstacle to create works such as "Cities of Salt"; a work in which innovation is its initial feature. Innovation in all elements specifically characterization, produces another question for the reader: what is the aim of creating various characters and general picture of this creation? The answer should be discovered in the characters' variety which is ethnic characterizations. This research studies characterization element in novels with the aim of clarifying the mentioned aspect of innovation followed by noticing two types of characterizations: individual characterization – the heroes of novel are analyzed; and ethnic characterizations which is the fundamental aim of the author. The studies of the present research show another characterization would manifest followed by Abdul Rahman Munif's political goals in which epic soul infuses and Arabic – ethic characterization would change by America's entrance.
