یکی از مهم ترین تحولات اجتماعی ایران، وقوع حوادث و سوانح طبیعی غیر مترقبه است که در بررسی رویداد اجتماعی و اقتصادی شهری به علت تأثیر همه جانبه آن در زندگی مردم شرح سوانح و بلایای طبیعی محل نقد و توجه جدی است، چون این حوادث نقطه شروع بسیاری از تحولات تاریخی است که در دگرگونی های اجتماعی و سیاسی و اقتصادی ملی و بومی قابل توجه است. این پژوهش بر آن است که تأثیر اقتصادی و اجتماعی حوادث غیر مترقبه مانند قحطی و گرسنگی، سرما زدگی، سیل، زلزله و بیماری های واگیردار را بر شهر قم در عصر ناصری مورد بررسی قرار دهد و پیامد طولانی آن را بر ابعاد مختلف زندگی مردم تحلیل نماید. در این بررسی که از نوع پژوهش تاریخی است بر اساس منابع و به شیوه توصیفی - تحلیلی، برخی از تأثیر و تأثرات حوادث غیر مترقبه طبیعی را بر زندگی اجتماعی مردم قم تحلیل نماید. یافته پژوهش نشان می دهد که حوادث ناگوار و غیر مترقبه طبیعی قم موجب کاهش جمعیت، تضعیف نظام اقتصادی و معیشت مردم، مهاجرت مردم به دیگر مناطق، تبدیل زمین های مرغوب کشاورزی به کشت تریاک و پنبه ، شورش محلی شده و زمینه را برای حوادث سیاسی و اجتماعی بزرگتر در ادوار بعدی، مانند پیدایش شورش ها و اعتراضات اجتماعی و انقلاب مشروطه فراهم نمود._x000D_

Explain in the form of libraries and documents. The research findings show that unfortunate and unexpected natural disasters have a negative effect on population decline and weakening the economic system and people's livelihood and have significant effects on political and social events in later periods.
