Since the novel is one of the most popular literary forms, researchers have examined it from various angles. Allegory is one of the literary techniques that writers, including novelists, have paid attention to in writing their works for various reasons. Investigating allegories hidden in a literary work is important because splitting the primary shells and dealing with the secondary and inner meanings can achieve a more comprehensive and deeper understanding of the literary work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the allegorical aspects of the novel The Year of Riot and to identify its allegorical effects to answer the question of what is the purpose of the allegories used in this work and to what extent they reflect the state of the society of the author's era?
