نگاهی انتقادی به کتابِ ایران به سانِ ملتی خیالی (مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

چکیده
هویتِ ایرانی از مباحثی است که شماری به درستی «زِ اقرار» و تنی چند با ناروایی «زِ انکارِ» آن شادمان هستند. نویسنده کتابِ فوق از انکارکنندگان است. همچنان که از نامِ کتاب برمی آید، نویسنده اثر درصددِ مقابله با ایران و تاریخ مند بودنِ هویتِ ایرانی و ملی برآمده است. او که تحتِ تأثیرِ مباحثِ نظری و اندیشه ای جدید است که جملگی بی التفات به بستر و بافتِ تاریخی-فرهنگی کشورهایِ موردِ مطالعه هستند، ایران و هویتِ ملی را ساخته وپرداخته شرق شناسان و نوکران و مزدورانِ استعمار می داند و تاریخمند بودنِ واژه ایران را به چیزی نمی گیرد. نویسنده اثر بر این باور است که نطفه هویتِ ملیِ ایران در غرب بسته شده و ارائه هرگونه پیشینه و خاستگاهِ تاریخی برای ایران و هویتِ ملی، گناهی نابخشودنی و ظلمی آشکار در حقِ بسیاری از اقوامِ این سرزمین است. نویسنده کتابِ ایران به سانِ ملتی خیالی: تکوینِ هویتِ ملی که دلبسته ادوارد سعید و شرق شناسی وی است و از کتاب جوامع خیالی بِنِدیکت اَندرسون بسی بهره مند شده، بر این باور است که برخی از نویسندگانِ ایرانی و انیرانی که هویتِ ایرانی و ملی را امری تاریخی می دانند، تحتِ تأثیرِ روش شناسی غربی و بر اساسِ جهت گیری هایِ نژادی و ایدئولوژیک، گذشته را روایت کرده و خوانشی ناتاریخی و متوهمانه پیش نهاده اند و برساخته هایِ جعلی را به جایِ تاریخ نشانده اند. نویسنده این سطور همه فصولِ کتابِ ایران به سانِ ملتی خیالی: تکوینِ هویتِ ملی را نقد نمی کند، بل آن بخش هایی را که به خاستگاهِ تاریخی ایران، ماهیتِ ایران و تنوعِ قومی و زبانی ایران پرداخته و ادعاهایی سست و کم مایه از آنها ارائه شده مطمح نظر قرار داده و در بابِ آنها روشنگری خواهد کرد.A Critical Review of the Book “Iran as Imagined Nation”
Iranian identity is one of the topics that some are happy to admit and few are merry to deny. The book’s author in question is one of the deniers. As the name of the book suggests, the book’s author wants to challenge Iran and the historicity of Iranian and national identity. He, who is under the influence of new theoretical and ideological debates, which are all unconcerned about the background and historical-cultural context of the countries under study, sees Iran and its national identity as the construction of orientalists and their servants and makes the historicity of the word Iran insignificant and unimportant. The author of the work believes that since Iran's national identity was formed in the West, presenting any historical background and origin for Iran and its national identity is an unforgivable misdeed and a clear injustice to many ethnic groups of this land. The author of the book Iran as Imagined Nation: the Construction of National Identity, which is interested in Edward Said and his Orientalism and benefited a lot from the book Imagined Communities written by Benedict Anderson, believes that some Iranian and non-Iranian writers who consider Iranian and national identity to be a historical matter, under the influence of Western methodology and based on racial and ideological orientations, narrated the past, presented an ahistorical and delusional reading and placed fake constructions instead of history. The present article does not criticize all the chapters of the book Iran as Imagined Nation: the Construction of National Identity, rather, those parts that have made weak and incorrect claims about the historical origin of Iran, the nature of Iran, and Iran's ethnic and linguistic diversity, will be put into perspective and shed light on them.
