چکیده
قصه حضرت یونس$از قصص قرآن کریم است که در روایات و تفاسیر قرآن و عهد عتیق آمده است. این مقاله به روش تحلیلی-توصیفی، در صدد تنزیه ساحت قدسی آن حضرت از تهمتهای ناروایی است که در برخی متون آمده است؛ لذا ضمن تأیید اشتراکات، تفاوتهای آن مورد نقد و بررسی قرار می گیرد. نتیجه اینکه: یونس$ یا اندکی قبل از اینکه عذاب از آن قوم برداشته شود، از قوم خود خشمگین بوده به طرف دریا می رود؛ یا وقتی فهمید که عذاب برداشته شده، به سویشان برنگشت؛ و متوجه توبه قومش نشد. او با اطمینان از اینکه قومش قابل هدایت نیستند مرتکب «ترک اولى» شد و آنها را ترک کرد. اما با توبه مردم، خداوند با خلق صحنه ای اعجازگونه توأم با آزمایش، او را به مقام اجتباء رسانده و در زمره صالحین قرارش می دهد. از معنای «کظم» و «مکظوم» برمی آید که آن حضرت در محل خروج نفس ماهی یا نهنگ زیر سوراخ تنفسی قرارگرفته و با توجه به هوازی بودن نهنگ حضرت می توانسته از هوای بیرون بهره برده و زنده بماند.A Study of the Opinions of the Commentators on the Story of Jonah $ and its Application to the Old Testament

But with the repentance of the people, God, by creating miraculous scenes combined with temptation, elevates him to the position of the righteous and places him among the righteous. From the meaning of "Kazem" and "Makzoom" it follows that the Imam was at the exit of the fish or whale under the breathing hole and due to the aerobic nature of the Imam's whale, he could use the outside air and survive.
