معنای خرامیدن
خداوند متعال می فرماید: «و در زمین خرامان راه مرو؛ چرا که تو هرگز نه زمین را توانی شکافت و نه هرگز از بلندی سر به کوه ها توانی رساند.»1
ایا خداوند در این ایه، انسان را از خرامیدن منع می کند؟
راه‌رفتنِ خرامان در این ایه راه رفتن متکبرانه، نخوت آمیز و خود بزرگ بینانه ای است که منبع آن شادی برخاسته از احساس بیمارگونه‌ی تحقیر دیگران است.در واقع ایه، خطاب به فرد مغرور است که: «چرا چنین مستکبرانه قدم بر می داری و پاهایت را محکم به زمین می کوبی ـ گویا گوش سپرده ای تا صدای نالش زمین را زیر پایت بشنوی ـ و سر و گردن را برافراشته ای؛چنان که گویا می خواهی بر قامتِ طبیعی خود بیفزایی؟ بدان که زمین به سفتی و سختی خود خواهد ماند و ضربات گام تو تأثیری در آن نخواهد کرد و قد و قامت تو چنان که بوده است، خواهد ماند، بی‌آن که ذره ای بر آن افزوده شود. پس چرا خود و جسمت ر ا چنین می‌آزاری؟ ایا می‌خواهی به دیگران بگویی که روح و نفس تو عظیم و بزرگ است؛چنان که در راه رفتنت به نظر می ایی؟ ای انسان، واقع بین و فروتن باش، که تو جز به علم و ایمان و اخلاق خود و احترامی که برای دیگران قائلی، رفعت نمی یابی. کیفیت ذاتی خود را بشناس و در چارچوب آن حرکت کن؛ چرا که نه تو هرگز زمین را توانی شکافت و نه از بلندی هرگز سربه کوه ها توانی رساند.»
این کلمات الهی سرشار از نیش و ریشخند و تحقیر چنین انسانی است؛ کسی که می خواهد از پرتگاه ها به قله‌ها دست یابد و از پستی‌ها بلندی گیرد.

The Concept of Walking Exultingly

The almighty Allah (s.w.t) says: زAnd walk thou not on the earth exultingly; for thou canst not rend the earth nor reach the mountains in stretching.س (1)
Does Allah (s.w.t) order the man not to walk exultingly regarding to the above verse?
Walking exultingly in this verse means walking haughtily, selfishly and coneitedly that originates in the joy and pleasure taken the rise from humiliating the other people. The verse, in fact, addresses the haughty person as: ز Why do you walk so haughtily and put your feet on the earth so stongly- as if you wait for the groaning of the earth- and lift your head- as if you want to increase your natural stature. Be sure that the earth will remain tough and hard as it is so and your steps will not have any effect on it. Also, your size and stature will be just the same as it was before without having any change. So why do you bother yourself and your body? Do you want to say others that your soul is so great and glorious as you look in your walking?
Oص Man try to be courteous and realist because you will never be superior than others unless by your wisdom, faith, morality and also the respect you have for others. Know your innate entity and move in that way and framework because you can neither make any change in the earth nor reach the height of mountains.
These divine words are full of snide and sarcastic remarks about such a person who wants to reach the superiority from inferirity.
