السیمیائیه بین العلم والنظریه والمنهج (مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

چکیده
تُعدّ السیمیائیه من الحقول المعرفیه الحیویه التی تهتم بدراسه العلامات والأنظمه الرمزیه والإشارات الداله فی شتى مظاهر النشاط الإنسانی. ورغم أهمیتها المتزایده، فإن موقعها فی خارطه المعرفه ما یزال مثار جدل إبستمولوجی واسع. یهدف هذا المقال إلى حسم مسأله تصنیف السیمیائیه وتحدید طبیعتها المعرفیه، مجیباً عن إشکالیه محوریه: هل تُعد السیمیائیه علماً مستقلاً، أم مجرد نظریه، أم منهجاً نقدیاً؟ ولتحقیق هذا الهدف، اعتمد البحث المنهج الوصفی التحلیلی النقدی، مستنداً إلى معاییر "فلسفه العلم" التی تُحدد ماهیه العلوم وتمیزها عن النظریات والمناهج، وذلک عبر تحلیل المفاهیم الأساسیه واستعراض آراء الخبراء. ومن أبرز النتائج التی توصل إلیها المقال أن السیمیائیه تستوفی معاییر "العلم" بشکل کامل، إذ تدرس موضوعاً محدداً (العلامات والدلالات) باستخدام قواعد ومبادئ دقیقه. وفی الوقت ذاته، أثبت البحث عدم وجود تعارض بین علمیّه السیمیائیه واستخدامها ک "منهج" إجرائی لتحلیل النصوص الأدبیه والفنیه وکشف مدالیلها الخفیه. کما خلصت الدراسه إلى أن النظریه - بطبیعتها المحدوده واحتیاجها للإثبات - لا ترقى لمستوى شمولیه العلم؛ وعلیه، فإن إطلاق مصطلح "النظریه" على السیمیائیه بإطلاق یفتقر إلى الدقه العلمیه نظراً لتعدد الاتجاهات النظریه داخل هذا الحقل، ما لم تُقیّد النظریه باسم صاحبها أو موضوعها المحدد.Semiotics: Between Science, Theory, and Method
Semiotics is considered a vital field of knowledge concerned with the study of signs, symbolic systems, and signifying signals across various aspects of human activity. Despite its increasing importance, its position within the map of knowledge remains a subject of extensive epistemological controversy. This article aims to settle the classification of semiotics and define its cognitive nature by answering a central problem: Is semiotics an independent science, merely a theory, or a critical method? To achieve this goal, the research adopts a descriptive-analytical-critical approach based on the criteria of the “Philosophy of Science,” which defines the essence of sciences and distinguishes them from theories and methods, through analyzing fundamental concepts and reviewing expert opinions. One of the most significant results of the article is that semiotics fully meets the criteria of a “Science,” as it studies a specific subject (signs and significations) using precise rules and principles. At the same time, the research demonstrates that there is no conflict between the scientific nature of semiotics and its use as an operational “Method” for analyzing literary and artistic texts and revealing their hidden meanings. The study also concludes that a “Theory”—by its limited nature and need for proof—does not reach the level of the comprehensiveness of a science. Therefore, applying the term “Theory” to semiotics in an absolute sense lacks scientific accuracy given the multiplicity of theoretical trends within this field, unless the theory is qualified by the name of its author or its specific subject.
