This research examines the Iranian digital community's engagement with the Metaverse, analyzing 14,724 tweets (expanding to 48,620 with retweets) from 23,571 unique users. Interest in the Metaverse among Iranians surged in the seven months following Facebook's rebranding but has since waned. A significant link between digital currency discussions and Metaverse topics was observed. Economic activists in the cryptocurrency market, forming the primary content creators, generally portray the Metaverse positively, focusing on earning opportunities. Another active group includes technology enthusiasts who share the latest Metaverse developments. Moreover, some users integrate Iran's socio-political context into their discussions, often contrasting Iran's technological stance with global giants like Facebook and addressing internet censorship. A distinct perspective comes from users wary of potential colonialist uses of technologies like the Metaverse, expressing apprehension about human subjugation. This sentiment forms the basis of most negative views on the Metaverse's development within the Iranian digital sphere.

A Meta-Synthesis on the Role of Metaverse Technology in the Sustainable Development of Tourism(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

This study explores the potential of metaverse technology in advancing sustainable tourism development in alignment with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Through a meta-synthesis analysis following a seven-step approach, 17 articles were selected from an initial pool of 149 and analyzed, identifying six key categories that illustrate how the metaverse contributes to tourism sustainability. The findings emphasize the metaverse's significant role in sustainable tourism by offering economic, educational, technological, and environmental benefits. The metaverse supports long-term sustainability in the sector by enhancing tourism experiences while reducing environmental impact, promoting responsible travel behaviors, and leveraging digital innovations. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders seeking to harness metaverse technology to drive innovation, foster sustainability, and develop models that balance economic growth with environmental stewardship.

Subject and purpose: The intelligent sales management system in Metaverse is the concept of performing sales operations, using smart contracts, machine learning, intelligent process automation and direct monitoring of all network members in Metaverse.The aim of the current research is to provide a model of intelligent sales management system in Metavers. Methodology: In the qualitative research, the statistical population includes experts in the fields of business management and information management, and the sample size was calculated and carried out according to the theoretical saturation point of 14 people using the snowball sampling method. Data collection was done through semi-structured interviews with experts and analysis. Data were collected using open, central and selective coding method. Findings:The findings obtained in the qualitative research showed 112 codes, 29 concepts and 9 categories, which led to the presentation of an intelligent sales management system model in Metaverse. Conclusion:This research led to the presentation of a new model of intelligent sales management system. Keywords: Intelligent management system, Metaverse, Foundation data.

Today, online educational platforms are recognized as a vital tool to transfer knowledge and skills in an effective and attractive way. Creating an educational platform in Metaverse is a strategic opportunity to provide educational services to a global and wide community. This educational platform in Metaverse is supposed to provide a multidimensional and interactive space that allows people to access various training courses using virtual reality technology and augmented reality plugins. This platform will be suitable for everyone, from children to adults and from beginners to advanced. Creating an educational platform in Metaverse enables knowledge and skills to be actively transferred to people using new technologies, and in this way, an important step towards the future of education is taken. In order to provide a coherent and comprehensive analysis of metaverse literature in the field of education, this article deals with a deep and organized review of the role of metaverse in this field. By focusing on current and future technologies, along with an analysis of challenges and opportunities, this paper attempts to provide a comprehensive and inclusive perspective. The purpose of this research is to provide a detailed and extensive study of the role and effects of Metaverse in the field of education, so that through the examination and analysis of future perspectives, it will be directed towards the progress and development of educational platforms.

Green Banking in the Metaverse: An Economic Analysis of Digital Marketing Opportunities Based on NFTs and Green Assets(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

In response to the expansion of green banking and the emergence of the metaverse, this study investigates digital marketing opportunities enabled by non‑fungible tokens (NFTs) and green digital assets. This research addresses a critical gap in the literature concerning the integration of green banking with metaverse environments, blockchain technology, and NFTs. The study aims to develop a conceptual framework for leveraging green NFTs in banking, enhancing customer engagement, fostering trust through blockchain-based transparency, promoting sustainability, and identifying security and regulatory challenges. The central research question is: How can banks utilize green NFTs within the metaverse to design sustainable digital marketing strategies? Adopting an exploratory qualitative approach, the study employs thematic analysis within an interpretive research paradigm. The research population comprises experts in business management, digital marketing, and blockchain— including faculty members from universities such as Mazandaran and Shahid Beheshti—as well as experienced metaverse users active on platforms such as Decentraland. Data were collected through snowball sampling and 23 semi‑structured interviews, conducted until theoretical saturation was achieved. The analysis resulted in 244 initial codes, 30 organizing themes, and six overarching themes: (1) the impact of green NFTs on customer engagement and loyalty, (2) the role of blockchain in trust-building, (3) the influence of NFT design features on environmental perceptions, (4) the promotion of sustainable behaviors through digital campaigns, (5) implementation challenges, and (6) the role of influencers in advancing green initiatives. The findings indicate that green NFTs enhance emotional engagement and customer loyalty, blockchain technology strengthens trust and transparency, and environmentally conscious NFT design positively shapes sustainability perceptions. Practical implications include integrating NFTs into banking loyalty programs, leveraging blockchain for transparent green claims, developing sustainability-oriented interface designs, launching gamified green marketing campaigns, and adopting AI-based security and risk management systems. These insights offer valuable guidance for banking executives and digital marketers, while also highlighting the need for future research to examine the long-term effectiveness and behavioral impacts of green NFT–based marketing strategies.
