Background: China is the undisputed power of sports in the world today and due to the close relations of China and Iran in many different aspects, the bilateral scientific works can be considered as well. Aim : The purpose of this study was to analyze the opportunities for the development of championship sports with a look at the cooperation document between Iran and China. Materials and Methods: The present study was a qualitative (descriptive-analytical) type of library studies in terms of applied purpose and in terms of data collection, which examined scientific works including books, articles, and notes during 2010-2021 about Iranian sports and China took place. Results: The research findings showed that the Islamic Republic of Iran and China, as two superpowers of West and East Asia, can have different sports interactions with each other in team and individual disciplines, respectively. In addition, the Iranians can use sport as a starting point and a tool to facilitate and accelerate their political-trade relations by winning 76 and the Chinese by winning 696 medals in the Summer and Winter Olympics; For example, the Chinese in the fields of swimming and diving, gymnastics, table tennis and recently weightlifting have emerged as the undisputed power of the world, while Iran can also compete in team sports such as football, volleyball and even Basketball to share its experiences in human resource development as the most important precondition for national excellence with this country. Conclusion: All in all, sport as a facilitator between Iran and China can develop the future political communications. China is the pioneer of Olympic Games and 25 years agreement can lead to brilliant future for Iranians.

Investigating the Aspects of Sport Structure in Iran(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The present study aims to investigate the aspects of sport structure in Iran. Literature review, Delphi method, and a researcher developed questionnaire were used to fulfill the research objective. At the first stage, 10 faculty members of sport management participated in a Delphi study. At the second stage, 302 researcher developed questionnaires distributed among staff and operational managers in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, managers of executive board in the National Olympic Committee, heads of federations, experts in NOC and the faculty members. The results showed that in terms of the importance, sports for all, training sport, championship sport and professional sport are in the priority of sport structure in Iran, and in designing the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan of Iran, none of the four aspects of sport structures have properly been taken into account.

The Model of Supporting Elite Female Athletes in Championship Sports(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

The purpose of this study was to provide a model for supporting elite female athletes in championship sports. To achieve the research aim, 200 people answered the questionnaires using purposive sampling method. The researcher-developed questionnaire was prepared through studying the theoretical background, semi-guided interviews with sports management professors and elite female athletes through an exploratory process, and exploratory factor analysis was used to categorize the 46 items into nine factors. The extracted constructs were found to be both valid and reliable based on confirmatory factor analysis by LISREL software and Cronbach's alpha. Results of the study indicated that the present questionnaire was a suitable tool to assess the support for elite female athletes. Besides, the final research model indicated that financial support was the first priority from the respondents’ perspective while government support was the last priority according to them. Moreover, all the fitness indices of the model for supporting elite female athletes and its aspects had good fitness which confirmed the model. Based on the results of the present study, it is suggested that the research model and the priority of its factors be considered for policy-making in the field of women's championship sports.
