Investigating the Role of Spiritual Orientation on Tourists' Morale with the Mediating Role of Spiritual Well-being(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

In modern eras, travels with spiritual motivation have been accompanied by significant growth. The present study is aimed to investigate the role of spiritual orientation on the morale of tourists with the mediating role of spiritual wellbeing. In terms of purpose, the present study is applied research, and in terms of method, it is a descriptive research and a survey and correlational research. The statistical population in this study includes tourists and travelers to the sights of Tehran. The statistical sample size of the study was obtained using the Morgan table, as 384 individuals were selected using the convenience cluster sampling method. The data collection instrument is Allport’s Religious Orientation Questionnaire (short form), Lemon and Ann Wangheim Tourist Morale, and Spiritual Well-being Scale by Ellison. The questionnaire reliability was verified using Cronbach’s alpha and composite reliability. Its validity was verified using convergent validity and content validity by the opinion of experts regarding the study topic. SPSS and AMOS software were also used to determine the correlation and data analysis. At a 95% confidence interval, spiritual orientation and spiritual well-being positively and significantly affected tourists’ morale. Also, the mediating role of spiritual well-being in the relationship between spiritual orientation and tourists' morale was confirmed.

Rural tourism can be defined as a tourism product, which approach accentuates the importance of supply management and marketing activities. As against conventional tourism, rural tourism has certain typical characteristics like; it is experience oriented, the locations are sparsely populated, it is predominantly in natural environment, it meshes with seasonality and local events and is based on preservation of culture, heritage and traditions. Iran is world famous for kind hospitality, friendliness, and a beautiful Landscape and villages. Beautiful historical villages and rural areas, like Gilanian villages have been visited by many foreign and domestic tourists. Definitely, Tourism industry in the villages has positive and negative consequences. Some experts focus on the positive aspects and vice versa. Some experts disagree with this industry and believe that must be prevented rural tourism. The main purpose in this paper is to investigate and Introduction of tourism centers in Gilan villages. The method in this paper is quantities and also action research and tools of data collection is documental, in-depth interview and participate .

The Impact of English Speaking Proficiency of Hotel's Staff on Attacting Tourists in Qeshm Island

The hotel industry in Qeshm Island is rapidly expanding. An important component in the hotel industry is the human resource. Tourists do not just come for the facilities and attractions, they want to be treated right and well and that is why a good command of the English language is always regarded as an asset for personnel in the tourism industry. This study was conducted to study and analyze the impact of one of the English skills, i.e., speaking of staff in hotels on attracting tourist in Qeshm Island. In order to so, data was collected from 25 foreign tourists in a hotel as Marina Hotel, regarding their expectations and perceptions of their stay about personal qualities of the hotels’ staff in different positions. The results obtained from the expectations of the guests indicated that the role and importance of the ‘English language proficiency’ in the tourism industry is relative to job function. ‘English language proficiency’ is more expected from those who often come into direct face-to-face contact with hotel guests such as the reception staff and it is more expected for the hotel management personnel as well. For other hotel staff, such as food & beverage and housekeeping staff, other qualities are expected more than ‘English language proficiency’ by hotel guests.

Certainly, in any field principles are foundations of rights and in this regard tourism is of no exception. Since, tourism is believed to be the main element for constant development, codification of laws and familiarity with tourists’ rights for having support and security seems crucial. The prerequisite for implementing rights of tourism is identifying other important laws which are known as the human’s essential laws of freedom. If tourism right is considered as a natural right for human being, but a tourist is banned from entering and residing in another country and his life and property are not safe and in case of any aggression is not allowed to refer to any court for prosecution and defending his rights, tourism rights would be meaningless. Some countries, based on their internal policies prefer to limit tourism and tourists’ rights while others advocate unconditional tourism and tourists’ rights. Obviously, any country based on the its principle of sovereignty and policies may act toward or against accepting the theory of unconditional tourists’ rights.

Tourism based on music is a combination of two funs activates that have many fans from around the world. Music tourism is a travel with the goal to take part in a music festival, musical concert or any kind of musical programs. It doesn't matter wheatear their destination is a big city or small village but the songs and tones will take the tourist to deferent directions. Music because of its entanglement with the human soul and body is one of the fascinations of tourism. Musical tourism which nowadays has many international fans is one the expansive branches of cultural tourism. In this branch music is the main reason for traveling and attracting tourists, and they in order to hear and experience the music's of deferent nationalities and ethnicities travel to many deferent countries. The Kurdistan providence because of its many interesting tourist attractions specially its music and folkloric dances, is one of the most important areas for attracting tourists and tourism anthropology studies, therefore the purpose of this study is to analyze and know Kurdistan's tourist attractions and dances of the people for attracting tourist from the perspective of musical anthropology. World Travel and Tourism Council has estimated that contribution of tourism sector to global economy and employment will be increasing in the next 10 years. Travel and tourism contributes to various areas of economy and Tourism is accounted as one of most significant industries of 21st century. If countries provide the required capacity for development of tourism industry, they would be able to take remarkable steps in flourishing their own economy. In view of the natural and human attractions of Baneh city, attracting tourist would be one of essential requirements for sustainability of this city. In the last few years tangible change of direction in city of Baneh economy has taken place. The descriptive, analytical and applied research methodology was applied in the present study to identify capacity and limitations of Baneh city in terms of tourism attraction by utilizing quantitative model of SOWR-QSPM. The results of the research indicates that the total score of internal environment has been 2.58 and external environment has been 3.46 i.e. Baneh city has an aggressive situation (relying on its own capabilities to use the opportunities). In the next step, the final strategies were planned, using SOWT model, and categorized according to QSPM model and the rate of tourism attraction, with the promotion of infrastructure as the most important priority for tourist attraction (score of 6.17). In the last part of the present research, the following suggestions have been made: preparing a strategic document for tourism of Baneh city and making policies and plans for tourist attraction in order to fulfill the aforementioned strategies.

The Role of Wellness Tourism in Tourist’s Spiritual Health (Case Study; Baghestan Recreation and Tourism Village)(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Wellness tourism has become a growing market in the tourism industry, which has a high potential of development. Wellness tourism is tourists with motivations for acquiring health and wellbeing who choose a trip with awareness and reliance. As a result, wellness tourism starts on a trip to the outside and aims to improve the physical, mental, and social health; during the trip, the inside trip is formed and leads to identifying unifying with a creator. This study aims to investigate the role of wellness tourism in the spiritual health of the recreation-tourism village of Baghistan. This is qualitative, and its method is descriptive-analytical, in which the interviewing method with tourists has been used since Nov. 2023. After analyzing the qualitative method, the results of the study show that the positive impacts and positive personal feelings along with personal internal motivations are factors of wellness tourism which finally lead to spiritual health. Although wellbeing and journey are inseparable parts of the body, soul, and spirit, the component of self-knowledge, inner peace, allows the tourist to enjoy and satisfy with awareness of the trip, to touch more health, wellbeing, freshness, and integrity of the spiritual health dimensions.
