It is necessary to establish mutual relationships between suppliers and demanders to ensure the quality of services. As English is the language of international communications, and the linguistic competence can greatly help develop the tourism industry, this study aimed to analyze the effects of learning English listening, speaking, reading, and writing on tourism development in Iran through the mediating roles of effective communications and teaching in English. The study is applied regarding purpose, and descriptive-survey study of correlation type regarding method. The population consisted of the professors and students of tourism management of Iran's universities, tourism faculties of Tehran, Mashhad, Semnan, Ahvaz, Babolsar, Yazd, and Kerman, as well as the experts in the tourism industry of Iran and foreign tourists. Data collection was field and library method done by distributing a questionnaire online and in person to 351 participants to complete them. Confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling techniques were used to analyze the collected data. The research findings indicated that listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills have a significant effect on effective communication and education in English. On the other hand, effective communication and teaching in English affect tourism development. The results indicate the essential role of linguistic competence in developing the tourism industry. For better understanding, recognition and learning the international environment and the development of the tourism industry, Iran needs to deal with this challenge, learning English, maintain its competitiveness in the globalization stage.
Analyzing the Role of Security in local Societies Tourism Development Case Study: Rural Areas of Torqabeh and Shandiz County(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Tourist destinations are selected by tourists based on various factors. One of the most important factors is tourist destination security. The study aims to investigate the role of security in the development of rural tourism. The methodology is descriptive-analytical. The statistical population includes 194 tourists from eight villages of Torqabeh and Shandiz County, which selected through the Cochran formula. A survey containing Likert- type scales were used for data collection. The reliability of the questionnaire was measured through Cronbach Alpha, which is acceptable. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS and Pearson Correlation test, One Sample T-test and Linear Regression, and VIKOR model. The results indicate that the security variable has a strong direct relationship with the tourism development variable (Coefficient = 0.713). In other words, security positively influences rural tourism development. In addition, the results of VIKOR model reveals that there is a different level of security for tourists in 8 tourist villages of the region; Jaghargh, Kang, and Abardeh villages are in good condition, but Noqondar, Anbaran, and Zoshk villages are at lower level in terms of tourism security and Zoshk village is at the lowest level in terms of tourism security that for the development of tourism in these villages should be considered by the authorities.

Purpose - This study, reviewing the literature in rural tourism development, has extracted factors affecting tourism development in rural areas . Design/methodology/approach - Using five approaches in rural tourism development and using a systematic review, this study has extracted factors affecting tourism development in rural areas; Therefore, the researcher studied the existing research in this field and finally 33 articles were selected that were appropriate to the purpose of the research. Finding - Factors of tourism development in rural areas fall into four categories: economic, managerial, socio-cultural and attractions. Regarding the economic factors, investing in the region and the region's willingness to invest were more important. Regarding cultural-social factors, much attention has been paid to issues such as villagers' participation, security in the village, the spirit of hospitality and education to the villagers in tourism. Planning and attention by the government, as well as efficient local management, are key factors in management, and about attractions, natural attractions such as natural landscapes, communication attractions such as proximity to cities and having access to roads and Communication and welfare attractions such as having accommodation facilities have been very prominent. Research limitations/implications - Carrying out further studies to classify the factors affecting tourism according to the climatic and cultural diversity of the villages. Weighting of extracted factors and planning on factors that have more weight and conducting studies by providing operational solutions for tourism development are needed. Unable to read some articles because of lack of full text. Practical implications - All economic, managerial, socio-cultural factors and attractions are essential in achieving tourism development with just slight defferent in impact weight. Therefore, it is necessary to have a comprehensive view of all factors in order to policy in rural tourism. The present study also showed the need for research to provide solutions for tourism development; Therefore, considering the community-based, economic, geographical and sustainable development approaches, it is necessary to provide solutions for the development of rural tourism with a comprehensive view of all factors. Originality / value - The novelty of the article is the use of systematic review method, which has received less attention from researchers in this field. The results of this research will be used among three bodies: scientific and elite, social and popular, organizational and managerial.
Tourism structures, the effective factors for tourism development (Case Study: Palangan Village)

Today, there is a new trend in architecture called "architecture for tourism", That one of the emphasized principles of it is the value of the traditional architecture of tourism in sustaining, sustainable tourism. In fact, the appearance of this new approach responds to the changes that have been made in the geography of the tourism market in the postmodern era, due to the changing needs and interests of tourists to exclusive and unique destinations. As regards that the native architecture of each region, reflecting its economic, social, cultural and environmental conditions, is an appropriate response to the principle of uniqueness in the competitive tourism market. The main emphasis of architectural tendency for tourism is the design and construction of tourism structures with the native architecture approach. In this regard this stem-applied research that is conducted using a descriptive-analytical method, and its information has collected from two sources of documentation in the field of questionnaires distributed among 100 tourists and experts in the field of tourism, architecture and geography in the village of Palangan, Kurdistan province as one of the important hubs of rural tourism and native architecture of the country, With the aim of explaining, analyzing, introducing and emphasizing on the importance and impact of the design and construction of tourism structures in rural tourism development, the aim of this approach is to use this approach in the field of rural tourism development. The results of the research show that the design and construction of tourism structures with the native architecture approach is capable of realizing the principle of uniqueness, satisfying the needs of residents and the welfare of tourists, and ultimately realizing the principle of satisfaction of tourists, in order to be able to according to the results of correlation, The side of the native architecture will move in the construction and design of tourism structures; we will see more and more favorable development of rural tourism.
Tourism Development in Historical Textures of Tehran City (Case Study: Hazrat Abdul Azim Shrine Area)

An industrial city tourism that manages and sells various products and experiences for people who have a wide range of motivations, tendencies and cultural perspectives and engage in a dialectical interaction with the host community. The old and ancient texture of cities due to their existence and the presence of historical valuable elements, proper communication position, the main market of the city and its economic heart, and etc. have a unique value and place in the spatial and functional structure of the city. Historical textures with enduring cultural values are one of the most important fields of development for endogenous development. These textures have characteristics and properties such as: large number of buildings, spaces and memorabilia of the old texture so that old town is distinguished from the periphery and immediate parts of the city and surrounding areas. Among the different regions of the country, the area of the Holy Shrine of Abdulazim in Tehran is of the potential tourist areas due to its historical dating and the abundance of attractions, as well as the diversity in its texture. Therefore, the main goal of this research is development of tourism in the historical texture of the shrine of Hazrat Abdul Azim. Descriptive-analytical method was used in this applied-survey study. The analytical method of SWOT was used to answer research questions and to provide a strategy for tourism development. For this purpose, a list of strengths and weaknesses, as well as opportunities and threats was prepared adjusting the strategic factors in order to extract SWOT matrix and provide the approaches derived from these analyzes as solving strategies regarding strengthen of the range. In addition, it can be concluded with a systematic view over the weaknesses and strengths as well as the existing opportunities and threats, that there are more strengths and opportunities available in this field, which must be exploited using the strengths and existing opportunities. The results obtained from the evaluation of the factors affecting the tourism development of the historical texture of the Hazrat Abdul Azim Shrine using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) model showed that the importance of the AHP technique, 6 main criteria and 23 sub-criteria based on the calculation of the relative and final weights among the evaluated criteria, historical and cultural attractions have the highest significance with coefficient (0.199), respectively.
An Analysis on Urban Tourism by SWOT Model (Case Study :Marvdasht City)

Since tourism causes some positive occupational movements, produces lots of job opportunities and it could have a great amount of effect on the geographical aspect and on people’s lives and society, it is believed that, it is the third and the most dynamic industry in today’s life. The cities specially in developing societies a living place for human kind face with same limitations of source and financial, social condition, it is buffer to vary the non – cultural activities such as tourism . This can be a means to increase job opportunities, decrease poverty and welfare state and social security .This study has been done in one of the scopes of Fars province, Iran. It aimed to investigate what advantages& limitations of the tourism development in Marvdasht city. it also sought to find out how the tourism in this area can be developed .This research was on the basic of descriptive – analytic nature and does have some practical goals .Required data in this field was gathered by library – based method .This study aimed to investigate some strategies to develop the tourism in Marvdasht city and it was done by determining strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats by SWOT model .The results of the research revealed that inner elements and outer factors of final scores are located in the ST or competitive scope . The most significant strategies of this scope are: dynamic economics and safe job opportunities by optimum use of tourism capacity.
Desirable strategies and possibility of making a distinct opportunity, in order to optimal development of tourism in persian -gulf region

Considering and determining natural, cultural and historical potentials of Persian -gulf and Iranian island for the purpose of realizing sustainable development of tourism, in 3 global, regional and domestic levels, so, daring strategies -other than available ones-should be provided, for planning and future developing it's tourism .Because, Iran's islands, being situated in Persian gulf, have a rare treasury of eco-tourism in south of Iran, as a result of enjoying from natural attractions and unique tourist places. In contrast to performed attempts, a little share of national development has been allocated into this region and even, it suffers from strange deprivations, in some cases. Furthermore, sustainable development of Iranian islands, being located in Persian gulf requires specific attention, as a result of geographical nature of island, from ecological view band existing special eco-systems, such as coral reefs, have forests, it's internal wide and specific lands and location of island, against sea and coast, in addition to irregular process of development, in past .This kind of attention must be on the basis of exact determining available condition, from all aspect, and continuous planning and managing, from environment view. This paper, considering the nature and axes of the Persian Gulf congress, (with the approach of tourism and international interactions), seeks to come up with a different method, drawing from studies and experiences in the field of coastal tourism and the relative success of the southern neighbors Iran will analyze this and demonstrate that by presenting a strategic conceptual model, its impact on the development of tourism in the spectacular and attractive areas of the Persian Gulf. From the analysis and conclusion of the discussed issues, it follows that the necessity of benefiting from all effective methods, from environmental attraction to modern technology, to improve the current level of these areas, from the perspective of tourism for Iran, is essential and should be considered based on scientific and research factors.

Factors affecting tourism industry in Boushehr province

For Optimal utilization of infrastructure and inequality identify areas to develop tourism, it is essential to identify the areas of tourism infrastructure and rankings which can manage the tourists more effectively. Thus, the harmony between the number of tourists and tourism space capacity is essential. Although tourism has many advantages, but the arrival of tourists to a region or an area, regardless of the capacity and tension, will be followed by social disorder and economic problems, overcrowding, social identity, social resentment, damaging the environment, etc. So, in order to reduce and prevent the negative effects of tourism it must be programmed to determine the spatial distribution and organization of tourist areas. The present study will consider a series of selected indicators such as economic, social and cultural rights as effective factors in relation to development of tourism in the province. The information required for this study was gathered through distributing a questionnaire among the study population (sample of 90 members of the Tourism Authority (30), tourism (30) and the public (30). The results indicated that the monuments, diversity, exhibition, infrastructures for tourists, the way people deal with tourists, culture and tourism, and financial safety of tourists have significant effects on tourism is in the province.
The role of infrastructures on sport tourists development in Mazandaran province

The purpose of this study was to identify and effective role of each of infrastructures related to sports tourism development in Mazandaran province. This study is based on a descriptive-survey method and is a type of field study. The statistical population included sport management professors, experts and heads of sport associations from Physical Education administration and the tourism experts of the Mazandaran province, which are all considered and targeted research were selected as examples. The tool used to collect data was a researcher-made questionnaire which its reliability was obtained by Cronbach`s alpha 86%. The questionnaire was design according to the Likert 5-point scale and 83 usable questionnaires were obtained . The friedman test and t-test was used for inferential analysis. Results showed that all the factors for the development of sports tourism infrastructure of a country is higher than average level 3, hence These factors affect the order of priority and importance in attracting tourists and in the management of marketing and advertising(4.72) is primarily important. It should be noted that the development of sports tourism, as may be that all the factors infrastructure and facilities affecting tourism, in the areas considered particularly sports tourism infrastructure And create appropriate strategies for marketing and tourism development, because of The weakness in tourism marketing and advertising of the backwardness of the country of the rising trend of the industry.
Land suitability assessment using ANP in a GIS environment for Tourism Development Site (Case study: Lavasan-e Kuchak Rural District, Tehran province, Iran)

The selection of a tourism development site involves a complex array of decision criteria that may have interdependence relationships within and between them. This study assessed the possibility of establishing natural tourism development site in Lavasan-e Kuchak Rural District (Tehran province) in Iran by using analytic network process (ANP) in a geographical information system (GIS) environment. ANP and the overlaying process were done on GIS. Using 10 information layers in three main criteria including Site Feature, Infrastructures & Services, and Risk & Sensitive Areas, the land suitability map was produced and reclassified into 5 scored divisions from least suitable to most suitable areas. The results showed that about 15.87 of the area of Lavasan-e Kuchak Rural District is most suitable for establishment of tourism development.
Study on Tourism Development Free Trade Area (Case Study Qeshm)

Today, the tourism industry is regarded as the most inclusive service industry worldwide that serves as a substantial source of economic prosperity (job creation, foreign exchange earnings, poverty mitigation, etc.) and elevated exchanges and social interaction. For this, areas with a high potential in tourism should take proper strategies to hold the economic and socio-cultural benefits of this industry. Free trade zones in Iran, particularly Kish, Qeshm, and Chabahar, can primarily consider the tourism industry and attract tourists to achieve economic goals, as declared in the law governs the establishment of free zones and also in the economic, social and cultural program of the country. Herein, this work attempts to identify appropriate strategies for tourism development in Qeshm Free Trade Zone to develop the tourism industry and economic-cultural sectors. For this, the strengths and weaknesses (internal factors) and opportunities and threats (foreign factors) were identified using the SWOT technique and the opinions of experts and specialists. The multi-criteria decision model ANP (an analytic network process) was used to prioritize and rank internal and external factors and determine the ultimate value of a collection of internal and external factors, aiming to prioritize and adopt the best strategy in the form of SO, WO, ST, and WT solutions. And the final value of each of these solutions was respectively 0.28, 0.39, 0.23, and 0.49. Initial results indicated the supremacy of the offensive strategy with the highest value (0.49) that is considered as the predominant strategy. The foremost strengths and opportunities in the region include investment in the private sector, security for tourists, the distribution and variety of tourist attraction sources, and the participation of indigenous people in the Qeshm region.
Validation of Urban Branding Model in order to Develop the Tourism Industry of Guilan Province(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

Some cities have unique and special features that have created a strong image of them in the minds of people elsewhere; But there are many cities that, despite their special features, have not been successful in this area. The purpose of this research is to validate the urban brand model in order to develop the tourism industry in Gilan province. The statistical population of the study includes managers and experts of Guilan Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization and employees working in tourism services offices of Guilan Province. Using a researcher-made questionnaire, 201 of them by Simple random sampling method were selected. Structural equation modeling using LISREL software was used to validate the model. The results of model validation showed that There is no significant relationship between contextual factors and strategies. But there is a significant relationship between other relationships in the model and the relationship between them was confirmed.
Investigation of the role of archeology studies and quality of rural environment in the development of tourism (case study: Varkaneh village, Hamadan; and Kandovan village, East Azerbaijan)

With specialized research and activities, archeology introduces many features such as old and ancient areas, ethnicities, cultural traditions, artistic handicrafts and the diverse climate and ecosystem of Iran to attract tourists. The formation of a positive sense in tourists about tourism destinations, taking into account the synergistic approach, also strengthens the sense of pride in the local community. On the other hand, increasing the level of perceived quality of tourists leads to an increase in the satisfaction of tourists as customers of tourist places and becomes the basis for encouraging managers and planners to try to provide more services with better quality. If the environment of tourism destinations lacks the desired quality, it will affect the perception of the tourist about the space and as a result, his mental image of the environment. In addition to motivating and introducing tourist attractions, archeology can provide the basis for the participation of government institutions and private sector investors in order to provide facilities and revive tourism dimensions. Reconstruction of historical contexts, anthropology, linguistics, traditional arts and other related sciences, can provide a suitable platform for economic growth and development, along with the development of tourism in the region and the world for Iranian society. According to the above, in this study, the researcher attempted to investigate the role of archeology studies and the quality of the rural environment in the development of tourism. This study is applied in terms of purpose, descriptive-analytical in terms of data collection, and is based on observation, interview, questionnaire and statistical data. In the present study, two methods of documentary and survey studies have been used. The statistical population included experts in the field of tourism and planning. The statistical sample of the research is about n=10. In addition to seeing the sights and natural landscapes of those places, tourists become familiar with the customs and culture of that village. In this way, tourists are interested in buying village products, such as handicrafts, local products, etc., and this means an increase in the income of villagers who work directly or indirectly in this industry. Most studies are demanded and focused on visitors and their needs and motivations.
Developing a Cultural Tourism Scenario in Iran(مقاله علمی وزارت علوم)

This research aims to identify the factors that influence the growth of cultural tourism in Iran and propose a corresponding model. Following the identification of these factors, a scenario is written to optimize their utilization. The research employs a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to achieve its objectives and finalize the factors. Semi-structured interviews are conducted with experts in the field. In the second phase, after the formal validity of the factors is confirmed, their fuzzy cognitive mapping and scenario are designed using the FCMapper and Pajek software programs. As the results show, the factor of “creating investment opportunities and attracting financial resources in the field of cultural tourism” is the most influential, while the factor of “providing diverse and creative services in Iran’s cultural tourism” is the most impressionable for the development of cultural tourism in Iran. In the task of scenario writing, it has been discovered that, by focusing on attracting financial resources, managers can enhance the infrastructure, create a context for interaction with other countries, identify new target markets, and offer creative services to Iranian cultural tourists through diverse tours. The findings can help stakeholders, managers, and policymakers in Iran’s tourism industry design and develop plans and strategies for the growth of Iran’s cultural tourism
