طراحی فیجیتال در صنعت جواهرات: فرصت ها، چالش ها و بازتعریف تجربه مشتری لوکس

چکیده
این پژوهش به بررسی نقش و پیامدهای طراحی فیجیتال در صنعت جواهرات می پردازد و تلاش می کند تا فرصت ها، چالش ها و تأثیرات آن را بر بازتعریف تجربه مشتری لوکس تحلیل کند. هدف اصلی مطالعه، بیان نحوه همگرایی ابعاد فیزیکی و دیجیتالی در طراحی، تولید و بازاریابی جواهرات و بررسی اثر آن بر درک ارزش، اعتماد و تجربه احساسی مشتریان است. همچنین با معرفی و تحلیل نمونه های موفق بین المللی، پژوهش حاضر در پی آن است تا مسیر پیاده سازی و بومی سازی این فناوری در صنعت جواهرات ایران را هموار سازد .این مطالعه با رویکرد کیفی اکتشافی و روش توصیفی–تحلیلی انجام شد. داده ها از طریق تحلیل نظام مند منابع علمی، گزارش های صنعتی و بررسی محتوای دیجیتال برندهای پیش رو گردآوری و با روش تحلیل مضمونی بررسی شدند. نتایج نشان می دهد برندهای خارجی از فناوری هایی چون واقعیت افزوده (AR) برای امتحان مجازی و پلتفرم های طراحی سه بعدی برای شخصی سازی استفاده می کنند که موجب ارتقای تعامل، اعتماد و تجربه خرید می شود. همچنین فناوری های بلاکچین و NFT با تضمین اصالت کالا و شفافیت زنجیره ارزش، اعتماد مشتری را تقویت می کنند .در کنار این مزایا، چالش هایی چون هزینه های بالا، نیاز به تخصص فنی، مقاومت فرهنگی و خطر تضعیف حس لوکس بودن نیز شناسایی شد. در نهایت، پژوهش تأکید می کند که موفقیت در به کارگیری طراحی فیجیتال در گرو ایجاد تعادل میان اصالت فیزیکی و نوآوری دیجیتال است، به گونه ای که فناوری مکمل تجربه هنری و عاطفی جواهرات باشد. این یافته ها می تواند مبنایی برای توسعه استراتژی های فیجیتال در برندهای ایرانی و گذار هوشمند به آینده ای هیبریدی فراهم آورد.Phygital Design in the Jewelry Industry: Opportunities, Challenges, and the Redefinition of the Luxury Customer Experience
Introduction The jewelry industry, grounded in centuries of craftsmanship and artistic heritage, has traditionally relied on tactile experience, material authenticity, and emotional engagement. However, rapid technological advances—particularly in AR, VR, AI, and interactive digital platforms—are reshaping expectations in luxury markets. Phygital design, which integrates physical and digital dimensions, has emerged as a transformative approach capable of enhancing customer experience, modernizing production, and bridging the gap between traditional craftsmanship and digital convenience. While jewelry may initially appear resistant to full digitalization due to its sensory and emotional nature, the habits of younger, tech-oriented consumers have made hybrid experiences increasingly essential. These customers seek personalization, interactivity, and seamless transitions between online and offline environments. The primary aim of this research is to examine the impact of phygital experience design on customer satisfaction and loyalty in the jewelry industry. To achieve this goal, the study identifies the key factors that shape effective phygital experiences, analyzes the relationship between phygital interaction and customer satisfaction, explores how these hybrid experiences influence customer loyalty, and ultimately proposes actionable strategies for enhancing customer journeys across digital and physical touchpoints. This approach recognizes that contemporary consumers—particularly younger, technology-oriented segments—seek seamless transitions between online and offline environments, higher levels of personalization, and trustworthy digital verification systems. This study explores how phygital principles can be applied in jewelry design, production, marketing, and retail. Key questions include: how phygital tools create innovative experiences; what opportunities and challenges accompany adoption; and how these technologies may shape the future of the industry globally and in Iran. Applications examined include AR try-on technologies, 3D customization platforms, AI-based recommendations, VR for immersive storytelling, and blockchain for authenticity verification. Methods A qualitative descriptive–analytical approach was used. Data were collected through a systematic review of academic literature, industry reports, and case studies of leading global brands such as Cartier and Tiffany & Co., alongside reviews of selected Iranian jewelry companies. Semi-structured interviews with designers, digital experts, and customers were conducted to examine expectations and perceptions. Thematic analysis was employed to identify core patterns related to customer engagement, co-creation, transparency, and digital adoption. A Delphi process with industry specialists increased the validity of results. Results Findings indicate rapid growth in the adoption of phygital tools. AR-based virtual try-on systems are now widely used, enabling customers to preview rings, earrings, and necklaces with realistic accuracy. Interview data show that these tools increase confidence, reduce uncertainty, and simplify the initial selection process. 3D interactive platforms allow customers to personalize gemstones, metals, and engravings, strengthening emotional connection and improving communication between designers and clients. This reduces the need for multiple prototypes and accelerates production. Emerging technologies such as blockchain and NFTs address major authenticity concerns. Blockchain offers tamper-proof verification of origin and ownership, while NFTs function as digital twins that enhance transparency and appeal to younger luxury consumers. Digital prototyping tools also streamline internal workflows by enabling designers to test proportions and structures virtually before manufacturing, increasing accuracy and creative freedom.
